Using a google map the hotel was easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small (normal for Venice) but clean.

Our room was on the alley and there was some noise from diners at a cafe directly below.

I liked the decor and the fact that it was an old building converted into a hotel. It was also extremely convenient & close to a vaporetto. The breakfast catered for Anglos by providing muesli, not just a continental breakfast. Both my husband & I appreciated the fact that blankets were provided instead of the usual duvet, which we both find is always too hot.

It is unfortunate that the hotel is opposite a bar, as the noise from late night revellers echoes in the narrow street & comes straight up through the windows. Fortunately, this was not a major problem.

view to the dull yard from the room, air conditioner was broken and thus we've got plenty of mosquitos coming in the night through the window. Breakfast canbe scarcely named as breakfast, there was tea/coffee with crousan/ piece of bread and butter and that's it. Location was not so close to the main square as it was described on the site

Lovely Art Deco appeal. We were in the annexe in an apartment which was charming, Great location just next St Stephen's Square.

It closes its doors after 12 am so if you stayed after that you may wait a while till someone opens the door for you.

Very helpful and warm staffs. The room is comfortable and it is clean daily.

The room we been offered was located at the top floor without a lift so might be a little bit of inconvenience for traveler with big luggage.

They had a simple but good breakfast. The location was good, 10 mins on foot from San Marco, 2-3 mins from a vaporetto stop (Sant Angelo).

We arrived late and at the hotel we found out that they had reserved us a room only for 2 persons (our reservation was for 3 persons!!, Luckily I had a printout of it with me). The staff didn't speak good English and it was difficult at times to make ourselves understood. The person at the reception gave us a so called upgrade for 2 nights to a suite but in the suite the lights were not working properly, the wifi didn't work, the hairdryer was broken, the extra bed was not made in the living room, it was very noisy in the night (could hear everything the neighbors would do upstairs)... Only after 2 nights there we could finally move to our originally reserved type of room and from there onwards things improved - the new apartment was what we expected and everything was finally functional...last nights there we finally had no more complaints...

The location and the services available made this a great stay, no where is too far away.

Not really a big issue but it would be nice to have some clear direction on the Vaporatie services as this information was hard to come by. It meant we had a 1.5 hour wait to leave the Venice because our line didnt start until mid morning.

good location, very easy to go to S. Marco by foot. the room is clean.
